German-speaking IT Supporter

At NORMAL, we are continuing to grow, and we are now looking for an IT Supporter to join our IT Support team in Skanderborg, DK - please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position. You’ll become part of a strong support team of seven colleagues who provide IT support to our head offices, stores, and store managers across the Nordics and the Netherlands. IT Support is part of our overall IT department of around 70 people.
Your key responsibilities
In your day-to-day work, you’ll collaborate closely with the other IT Supporters and our IT Operations team to ensure the best possible service to all our stores and office locations.
Being an IT Supporter ay NORMAL is a varied role, but your focus will be supporting our stores in close collaboration with the rest of the IT organization. Your tasks will include:
- Providing 2nd level support to stores and store managers
- Providing 1st level support to colleagues at our head offices in different countries
- Handling incidents and service requests via email, phone and walk-ins
- Maintaining master data and user administration
- Purchasing, preparing, setting up and registering equipment
- Maintaining documentation and ensuring ongoing knowledge sharing
- Proactively following up on daily operations
- Coordinating and collaborating with various suppliers
You’ll work with a range of Microsoft-based systems, such as MS Dynamics NAV & Business Central with LS Retail, Office 365, MS Entra, Active Directory, Targit (Business Intelligence) and more.
Who are you?
You are service-minded and enjoy helping users solve their IT challenges to make their workday easier. You are structured, systematic, and keep calm even when things get busy. You handle both simple and more complex support tasks with equal enthusiasm, and you also contribute to a positive and supportive team atmosphere – even on hectic days.
Ideally, we also imagine that you:
- Have a least a few years of experience within IT, preferably with a technical focus or in technical support – your practical experience counts more than your formal education.
- Have a curious and proactive approach to new technologies and IT challenges
- Have a solid understanding of application landscapes and IT infrastructure
- Speak and write German and English fluently – and it’s an advantage if you also speak Danish
Practical information
- Work location: Skanderborg - No relocation assistance is offered for this position, and you must hold a valid Danish work permit.
- Working hours: Between 7:00 and 17:00
As this is a support function, remote work opportunities are limited
