Italian speaking Accountant /Finance Assistant

Since the launch in 2013, NORMAL has experienced rapid growth, opening around 950 stores and establishing a strong presence in e markets. To secure the continues growth we are now looking to expand our finance department with yet another accountant / finance assistant. As our new finance assistant, you will become part of a team of 28 dedicated colleagues and you will play an important role for the future growth of the organisation.
Responsibilities and tasks
As an international organization we wish to strengthen our relationship with the Italian part of the organization as well as Italian business partners and suppliers. As a finance assistant you will have your own areas of responsibility, but you will also be part of a culture where we help each other. Your tasks will include:
- Responsibility for the collaboration with our Italian colleagues;
- Assist on the control of the payment flows, including support on making the payments;
- Recording financial transactions like expenses, purchases and vouchers;
- Reconciling accounts payable;
- Communicating with Italian-speaking vendors and entities;
- When needed, providing support to the finance team in other markets.
About you
You are openminded and positive and like to get involved in a variety of assignments and thrive on solving tasks independently. You are a team player and have a high sense of responsibility and high work ethics – meaning that you are willing to go the extra mile to achieve the best result together with your colleagues.
Moreover, you:
- have some experience with or knowledge of bookkeeping
- have good communication skills in Italian and English (knowledge of other languages is also an advantage)
- are familiar with Excel.

Practical information
- Work location: On site in Skanderborg, so we expect you to live within an hours drive from Skanderborg - No relocation assistance is offered for this position
- The job is a full-time position
